ORII to showcase Press to Press Transfer and Compact Feed Technology at FABTECH
The RHQ offers unique advantages over previous robot transfer technology. Old transfer technology required the press to top stop before the robot transfer began to move in and out of the press.
The RHQ Robot utilizes 2 Axis servo driven technology to improve speeds and accuracy. In addition the RHQ Robot will synchronize with the presses crank motion to maximize strokes per minute processing time. Advantages of Press to Press Transfer Systems
Orii’s series of press robots support press room automation with refined designs and a wide variety of types and variations.
Press-to-press robotic transfer system offers a number of advantages to a stamping manufacturer. For one, it gives them system flexibility and ability to change the layout without facility or foundation modifications. The initial investment cost is much lower than a dedicated transfer press system, including accessory equipment to handle large tooling on the shop floor and in the toolroom. Orii press to press transfer systems work with gap-frame presses to straight side presses.
A wide range of peripheral components can be combined with our robot line systems to construct flexible and efficient line systems. Orii’s attachments and peripheral devices enable free line configurations, such as U-shaped and L-shaped lines.
Compact Feeder
Orii 9 models of straightener feeder systems have been updated to include 25 variations. Extensive knowledge of press stamping has been devoted to these systems so they meet every need. Orii series of compact feed systems process materials from .012 to .472 thick materials and up to 74” wide. Orii compact feed systems have been copied but never duplicated.

Although the size has been compacted for a total length of only 3734mm (LCC04, 05, 06 HR3), this series handles material from 400mm (15″) to 1300mm (51″) wide and up to 6.0mm (0.236″) thick and can be used for a wide variety of purposes. Highest priority is giving to human more working space, and the “HR3″series succeeds to the ORII’s policy.
