Peer Groups Offer Collaboration and Education
The ability to talk with others in your industry can have a major impact on your business. To facilitate these conversations, FABTECH’s Finishing Partner, the Chemical Coaters Association International (CCAI), along with the Powder Coating Institute (PCI), have established a Custom Coater Peer Group program. Designed to bring small groups of 6 – 8 non-competing companies together several times a year, the program gives participants the opportunity to tour each other’s facilities; perform an audit on finishing operations which allows for feedback on improvement; and hear from experts on everything from finishing technical issues to business topics.
“We carefully vet each company to ensure they are assigned to a group with other coaters who do not and would not compete with one another,” notes CCAI’s Executive Director Anne Goyer. Running for the past year, more than 20 custom coaters now participate in the program.
Technical and business speakers provide Peer Group members with a wealth of information.
