Assessing the Future: Robot & Equipment Risk Assessment Requirements and Methodology
Assessing risk has always played a vital role in the development and implementation of industrial machinery. Industrial robots are evolving, and so are the needs and regulatory requirements for the understanding of the risks involved in working with them. We will go over how the passage and enforcement of regulations governing the use of industrial machinery have changed the idea of risk assessments on robotic systems as not just good practices, but as a mandatory compliance requirement. This presentation will emphasize the benefits of conducting an on-site risk assessment, as well as review methodologies for conducting a risk assessment for different robotic systems, as well as other industrial equipment. We will discuss how to assess the adequacy of current safeguards and methods for determining the risk reduction measures required to adequately reduce the risks operators and employees are exposed to.

Redefining Industrial Automation with Remote Robot Monitoring, Diagnostics & Control
This session will explore the benefits of remote monitoring and error correction tools for end users, integrators, industry, and society. It will also help understand how incorporating the latest remote robot monitoring, diagnosis, and control tools into every automation deployment slashes downtime and enables integrators to meet demand.
